Create a Custom Installment Plan for your Product

Setting Up Installment Plans to Offer Recurring Payment Option and make products affordable for learners

With custom installment plans, users make a series of smaller payments at regular intervals until the total cost of the product or service is covered. This can make expensive items more affordable by breaking down the cost into manageable installments.

In order to add an Installment Plan, users need to be subscribed to either a premium or a beyond premium plan.

To set up a custom Installment Plan:

  • Navigate to Pricing and Validity.
  • Click on Add Pricing Plan and opt for the Custom Installment
  • Enter Plan title and description.
  • Then click the Create button.
  • Enter the relevant details:
    • Price – Original price of the product
    • Discount Price – Reduced price (if applicable)
    • Installment Breakdown - setup the installment amount  and due date for the each installment.
    • To add more installment option, click the Add installment button.

All instalments amount should be equal to the plan price.

    • Validity Options
      1. Set Validity – Enter the number of days the learner will have access
      2. Set Expiry – Select a specific date when access will end
    • Trial Duration – A trial duration can be set to determine the number of days during which trial lessons can be accessed after enrolling in a course. The trial plan will expire after a set number of days from the current date.
    • Payment Gateway – Choose the payment method for this plan
  • Then Click the Save & Next button. 
  • Now, go to the general Settings 
    • Title – Name of the pricing plan
    • Description – Short summary of the plan
    • Location – Select applicable regions (if required)
    • Share Type:
      • Public – Visible to all learners
      • Private – Accessible only to specific learners you invite
    • Plan Type

      • Normal – Available for new learners
      • Renewal – Available only for learners renewing their access
  • Then Click the Save & Next button. 
  • Now, go to the Advance Option.
  • Copy the check out Link and share with the learners
  • Then Click the Save & Next button. 
  • Now, go to the Publish Status.
  • set the status to Published by clicking on Publish Status > Published.

Once a user completes payment for one of the installments, they are officially enrolled in the Installment plan. It is important to note that once enrolled, users cannot change their plan.
