On Learnyst you can conduct Zoom live classes or embed third-party live apps.

In this support article, let's see how to conduct live classes on Learnyst using third-party apps. Here's how:


Create and Publish a LIVE Lesson On Learnyst

  • Within the contents section, select courses and click the Create Course button and create a course.

  • Now, within the Course builder, create a section and select the LIVE class lesson

  • Here, you can select the Embed other LIVE class apps

  • Here, you can decide the start and end time, and finally, paste the embed code or session link.

  • Next, let's see how to embed YouTube LIVE class link within Learnyst. To do that, first, go to your YouTube channel and click Go live

  • Next, click on the Webcam option and click Next to activate your LIVE class

  • Set the visibility and schedule and click Next

  • Before going LIVE, click on the share button and copy the link.

  • Paste it in a browser and click on Share again and you will get an Embed link.

  • Now, copy the embed link

  • Go to your admin dashboard and paste the LIVE class link, and click Save.

  • Next, go back to your course builder and click on the Publish status button to make your course LIVE.


Next, let's see how students will attend your LIVE classes.

Embed LIVE Class - Student Side

  • Students can now go to your academy-URL/learn and signup with their email id.

  • They can see the upcoming LIVE classes and simply click on them.

Here, students can click on the join now option to attend your live class.

Your Live class link opens in a new tab and students can attend your classes.

Note: You can follow similar steps to embed live classes from other third-party tools like YouTube Live, Ustream, Live Stream, and Adobe Connect, and Twitch.
