Enable and Use the Gamification Streak Feature in Learnyst

Gamification in Learnyst helps educators keep their students engaged through streaks and XP points. This guide explains enabling and managing the Streak Feature for batch classes.

Streak System for Learners

Once enabled, students in the selected batch will have access to the Streak System:

• They earn 1 streak & 10 XP points by watching at least 10 minutes of video class daily.
• If they miss a day, their streak turns to ice ❄️.
•  Continuous streaks remain on fire 🔥.
• Learners can track their weekly streaks, XP points, and personal highest streaks.

Step 1: Access the Gamification Section

• Log in to your Learnyst Admin Dashboard

1. In the left menu, navigate to the Gamification section.
2. Click on Streaks to proceed to the streak template section.

Step 2: Enable Streaks for a Batch

1. Go to the Products section in your admin dashboard.
2. Click on Batch to view all your available batches.
3. Select the batch where you want to enable the streak feature.

Step 3: Activate Streaks in Gamification Template Management

• Inside the selected batch, look for the Gamification icon.
• Click on the Add Gamification button for that batch.

In the Add Gamification section, click on Add Gamification.

1. Select the Streak Feature from the available options.
2. Press the Add Template Button to Confirm and complete the setup.

• Add Content to your Batch to get started!

Earning Streaks by Watching Batch Videos:

By watching at least 10 minutes of a scheduled batch video each day, learners can earn streaks, track progress, and gain XP points.

Learners have to follow the step-by-step guide below to earn streaks and maximize their learning experience.

• Login to learner Account. and look for the Batches option
• Click on the batches that they want to enroll 
• After enrollment, they'll enter into the calendar of their Batch
• Select the video lesson that they want to learn.

• Watch a lesson video for a 10-minute duration of time.

 

 

• After 10 minutes, a popup will notify learners about the earned streak.

• Once Learners come back to their batch calendar learners will see the dashboard of streaks.
• Where Learners can see:

1. Weekly streaks
2. current streaks
3. earned XPs
4. Highest streaks gained 

• By clicking on the Streaks dashboard, learners can view their whole month's performance as a calendar.
