Previously in the learnyst platform, we had an option to create encrypted course from scratch. (mentioned in the link)
But what if, you created a course without encryption and want to encrypt it later?
In this article, we will show you how to encrypt an already created unencrypted course. Here are the steps.
Go to your admin login and select courses
Select any of your unencrypted courses
Within the course, select utilities section
Within utilities, select course encryption
Click start encryption to start encryption process
Click agree and continue
You will receive below notifications in your course page

The encryption process will take as long as the time length of your course. During this time, your courses may not be accessible.

Once a course is created it can not be changed to unencrypted course (for encrypted courses) or encrypted course (for unencrypted courses)
