Import Learners directly into course via a Excel Sheet
Learnyst offers a convenient way to import learners in bulk using a simple Excel template, saving time and effort, regardless of the number of learners.
- Access the Import Learner feature on Learnyst admin
- Download the default Import Template
- Modify the Import template
- Upload Template and Import Learners
- Import History and verify Learners
Access the Import Learners Feature
- Log in to your Learnyst account and navigate to Users > Learners.
- Click More > Import Learners
Download the Import Template
- Click on Import Learners to Products. Additionally, you can import learners into different segments.
- Click on the excel sheet to download the predefined headers titled ImportTemplate.xlsx.
- If you want to import additional custom fields (e.g., city, math percentage score), select the Import with Custom Fields option and click Generate Template with Custom Fields.
Modify the Import Template
- Open the downloaded Excel template. (Here we have used Google Spreadsheets)
- Make sure the remove the cells in which the instructions are defined.
- Fill in the learner's name, email address, and password in the respective columns.
- Scroll to the right and enter the exact course name in the appropriate column.
- The Learner name, Email address, password and Course Name are the mandatory fields.
- You can provide additional optional details like validity, amount paid, start date, and access type or leave those blank.
It's crucial to enter the course name exactly as it appears in your Learnyst account. Any discrepancy may lead to import errors.

- Once the upload is successful, click the Import button to initiate the import process.
