Import Learners into Specific Product Segments on Learnyst

Learnyst allows you to organize your product content into meaningful groups or segments, such as Class VIII, Class IX, and Class XI.

If you want to import learners directly into a specific segment, you can follow these steps:

  1. Access the Import Learners Feature

  2. Select the Target Segment
  3. Download and Fill Out the Import Template
  4. Upload and Import the Template
  5. Verify the Learner addition for the segment

Access the Import Learners Feature

  • Log in to your Learnyst admin dashboard.
  • Navigate to Users > Learners.

  • Click More > Import Learners.

Select the Target Segment

  • Choose the Import learners to segments option.

  • Choose the desired segment where you want to import the learners (e.g., Class XI).

Download and Fill Out the Import Template

  • Download the default template.

  • If you want to include custom learner details (e.g., city, math percentage score), select the Import with Custom Fields option and click Generate Template with Custom Fields.
  • Open the downloaded Excel template and fill in the mandatory details, name, email address, password and course name.

Upload and Import the Template

  • Return to the Import Learners tab in Learnyst.
  • Click the Upload button and select the filled-out Excel template.
  • Once the upload is successful, click the Import button to initiate the import process.

Verify the Learner addition for the segment

  • Navigate to the segment which we added the course into. Click More > Members.

  • The learners will be successfully added to the segment.

The default learner password is set to password, which can be changed later by the learners upon signing in to their accounts
