# Introduction to Learnyst Socials

## Learn how Learnyst Socials works, understand Social App, Social Admin, Spaces, and Space Groups, and see how products and community content are organized for your learners.

### Introduction to Learnyst Socials

Learnyst Socials provides a dedicated experience where you can organize your products, community content, events, and other resources for your learners.

Socials includes two parts: **Social App** and **Social Admin**. The Social App is the learner-facing experience used for accessing content and community engagement, while Social Admin is the admin area used to create and manage the Socials experience.

### What is Learnyst Socials?

**Learnyst Socials** is a learner-facing social and learning space where creators can bring their **courses, products, community, events, and resources together in one organized experience**. It allows learners to discover and access content through customizable Spaces and navigation while engaging with the community through posts, reactions, and replies.

### Social App

**Social App** is the learner-facing experience of Socials. Learners use it to navigate through the spaces available in your Socials, access their content, and engage with the community.

Admins can also use the Social App for learner engagement activities such as **posting, replying, and reacting**. When an admin needs to manage the Socials setup, they can move to Social Admin through the admin settings menu.

### Social Admin

**Social Admin** is the admin management area within Socials. It is used to configure and manage the Socials experience, including spaces, space groups, navigation, products, and other settings.

You can use Social Admin to control how your Socials is structured and how learners navigate through the available content.

### What is a Space?

A **Space** is a destination within Socials that gives learners access to a specific type of content or functionality.

A Space can represent a **product, community post, system area, feed, or external link**. Product Spaces can be connected to Courses, Mock Tests, and Test Series. System Spaces can include Store, My Enrolments, Search, Profile, Member List, Leaderboard, and Events.

For example, you can create Spaces such as:

- Courses
- Mock Tests
- Community
- Events
- My Enrolments
- Leaderboard

You can configure a Space's name, icon, description, visibility, link properties, notifications, and status from Social Admin.

### What is a Space Group?

A **Space Group** helps you organize related Spaces together. You can place multiple Spaces inside a group so learners can easily find related content within one section.

Socials supports three Space Group types:

- **General**
- **Batch**
- **Bundle**

You can also configure the group's visibility and whether it is open or closed by default.

For example, creating a **Batch** Space Group adds a template containing relevant Spaces such as Dashboard, Event, Content, About, and Discussion Forum. A **Bundle** Space Group includes Content and discussion.

### How products work in Socials

You can add Learnyst products to Socials through **Spaces**. When a learner accesses a product Space, they are taken to the relevant product experience.

The available product mappings include:

| Product | Learner experience |
| --- | --- |
| Course | Lesson Player |
| Mock Test | Test Start Screen |
| Test Series | Lesson Player |
| Community Post | Post List |

This allows your existing Learnyst products to become part of the Socials experience.

### How Socials navigation works

Socials provides different navigation areas that you can configure from Social Admin. These include the **Sidebar, Navbar, Mobile Tab Bar, and Home Bottom Bar**.

You can add Spaces and Space Groups to these navigation areas, reorder them, and remove them based on how you want learners to access your content.

The Sidebar supports up to **60 Spaces**, while the Navbar supports up to **12 Spaces**.

### How Socials works

The Socials setup follows this general flow:

**Create Socials → Add Spaces → Link Products → Organize Spaces and Space Groups → Configure Navigation → Publish Social App → Learners access and engage**

You manage the structure and configuration through **Social Admin**, while learners use the **Social App** to access content and engage with your community.
