Learnyst Batch Overview

Batches (cohorts) in Learnyst help you schedule lessons, manage groups of learners, and deliver structured, time-bound courses with live classes for better engagement and completion rates.

A Batch (or Cohort) in Learnyst allows you to deliver your course to a specific group of learners on a fixed schedule. Instead of giving all content access at once, you can schedule lessons gradually based on dates and timings—creating a guided and structured learning experience.

This is especially useful if you want your learners to progress together, attend live sessions, and complete the course within a defined timeframe.

When you create a batch, learners can enroll it and define a schedule for your course content. Based on this schedule:

  • Lessons are released on specific dates and times
  • Learners progress through the course together
  • Live classes can be scheduled and attended as part of the batch

This ensures that all learners in the batch follow the same learning path in a synchronized manner.

With Learnyst batches, you can:

  • Schedule Lessons – Control when each lesson becomes available
  • Create Cohort-Based Learning – Group learners into a single batch
  • Conduct Live Classes – Plan and deliver real-time sessions
  • Set Learning Timelines – Define start and end dates for course access

Batches are ideal for educators who want to run time-bound programs or guided learning experiences. They help you:

  • Deliver courses in a more disciplined and organized way
  • Encourage consistent learner participation
  • Improve engagement through scheduled releases and live interaction
  • Create a classroom-like experience in an online environment
