Design your old certificate for your course in the legacy builder

On the Learnyst platform, you can customise the visual elements of your course certificate.

  • Once you enable the certificate feature, select the Design Certificates option.

  • You will reach the certificate design page after clicking it. This is an example of a certificate for your course.
  • Click the Choose Template option to see the visually appealing templates.

  • You can see plenty of templates. Just select the desired template.

  • To modify the certificate's background color or image, click the Edit Background button.

  • Now select an image or color to replace the background.
  • To change the background image, select the image tab. Then, click the Change Image option.

  • You can now upload an image from your local storage.
  • Once you've chosen your background image, click the Apply button to change it.

  • Now you have changed the background image. Similarly, if you wish to modify the background's color, select the Color option. Then, click the color panel box to select a color.

  • Once you've decided on the appropriate color for your certificate, click the Apply button.

  • The certificate automatically updates with the learner's name, the course name, and the duration of the course. 
  • To change other texts, such as the co-instructor's name and the instructor's name, just click on a certain text.

  • Now that the text bar is visible on the left, type the text into it.
  • Additionally, if you want to change the text's colour, just click the color panel box and select the suitable colour of the text.
  • Then press the "Apply" button. In the same way, you can change any text on the certificate.

  • Upon updating the certificate's details, click on the "Generate Sample" button to review an updated version of the certificate.

  • Then click the "Save" button to store all of the changes, and click the "Publish" button.

  • Now, upon course completion, your learners will receive this customised certificate.
