In Online Essay, learners can write their essays directly within the LMS dashboard or upload a PDF of their handwritten essays. In Offline Essay, available only for mock tests, learners can download the question paper, write their answers on paper, convert the completed answers into a PDF, and upload the file for evaluation. - To review your learners' answers, go to the **Manage** option on the left-hand menu bar. Add filter: Click the Add Filter button to filter the results based on the Email and Attempt. After completing the offline quiz, input your score here. 2. To upload the attachment to your students, click this link. 3. Next, select the Submit Review option. 4. The PDF may contain non-flattened annotations, meaning the evaluator’s markings are stored separately from the page content. The built-in PDF preview in Android browsers such as Chrome and Brave may not display these markings, even though the evaluated PDF has uploaded successfully. **Solution:** Download the evaluated PDF and open it in a dedicated PDF viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or Google Drive PDF Viewer, where available. ### How can educators make evaluation markings visible directly in the Android PDF preview? **Solution:** Flatten the evaluated PDF before uploading it. Flattening embeds the evaluation markings into the page content. Learnyst Support recommended [Sejda’s PDF flattening tool](https://www.sejda.com/flatten-pdf) as an example. 1. Keep a copy of the original evaluated PDF. 2. Open [Sejda Flatten PDF](https://www.sejda.com/flatten-pdf). 3. Click **Upload** and select the evaluated PDF. 4. Choose **Make fillable PDF form fields un-editable**. Sejda documents that this option also permanently embeds annotations, such as comments and highlights, into the document. 5. Process the PDF and download the flattened copy. 6. Open the new copy and confirm that all evaluation markings are visible. 7. Upload the flattened PDF for the relevant learner and test, then verify the markings in the affected Android Chrome/Brave preview. **Note:** Flattened annotations can no longer be removed or modified separately, so retain the original. Use online processing only if your institution permits uploading learner documents to that service.
