WhatsApp Messaging Limits on Learnyst

On the Learnyst platform, you can reach learners, engage them, and even convert leads into students using WhatsApp. However, WhatsApp has messaging limits that define how many unique users you can message within a 24-hour period.

What Are Messaging Limits?

  • Messaging limits are the maximum number of unique WhatsApp users your business phone number can reach in a moving 24-hour period.

  • These limits only apply to messages sent outside of the 24-hour customer service window (e.g., template messages for promotions, reminders, or updates).

  • By default, every new WhatsApp Business account can message up to 250 new customers per day.

How to Increase Messaging Limits

You can increase your limit to 1,000, 10,000, or even higher based on account activity and quality.

Step 1: Increase Limit to 1,000

You can scale to 1,000 by completing at least one of the following:

  • Verify your business account.

  • Have your business verified by your solution provider.

  • Send 1,000 delivered template messages (to unique numbers) outside of the customer service window in a 30-day period, while maintaining a High quality rating.

Once you meet one of these conditions, Meta reviews your account.

  • If approved, your limit increases to 1,000 immediately, and you’ll be notified by email and developer alerts.

  • If denied, your limit stays the same, and Meta may suggest alternative ways to scale.

Step 2: Automatic Scaling Beyond 1,000

After reaching 1,000, Meta will automatically analyze your account to see if it qualifies for higher limits (e.g., 10,000 or more).

Your limit will increase if:

  1. Your business phone number is connected.

  2. Your quality rating is Medium or High.

  3. In the past 7 days, you have used at least 50% of your current limit.

If these criteria are met, your limit is automatically increased.

If your quality rating drops to Low for 7 days, Meta may reduce your limit by one level.
