Add essay-type questions to the quiz.

On the Learnyst platform, you can add essay-style questions to your quiz. Your student can write the essay or upload the file.

• To add essay-type questions, navigate to Contents > Courses > Select desired course > Select the quiz and click the Continue button.
  
  
• After entering this page, click the Add Question button.
  
  
• When you click it, several question types appear. Now, simply select the Essay-type question.
  
  
• You'll land on this page. Here, write the essay question's instruction, question, criteria, and explanation. 
  
  
• Once you've entered the criteria, enter the criteria percentage for your essay.
  
  
• You can also customise your question marks and difficulty level.  
  
  
• After you've completed the necessary information for your question, click the Save button.
  
  
• Then you can upload and manage explanation files in the same way that you would a slide lesson. 
  
  
• Once they submit their essay solution, you can evaluate it and provide marks.
