Add group questions to the quiz.
On the Learnyst platform, you can create group questions. Group questions can help you prepare your students for English language tests such as IELTS or the CAT Data Interpretation Exam.
- Once you've developed group questions, your students can read the passages and answer different kinds of questions related to the passage.
- Creating group questions takes two steps.
Step 1: Add questions.
- To create comprehensive examinations, first create questions and answers based on the passage.
- You can add four different kinds of questions. Once you've added the questions, you can group them.
Step 2: Group the questions.
- To add a group question to your quiz, go to Contents > Courses > Select the desired course > Select the quiz, and then click the Continue option.
- Once on this page, click the Add Question button.
- When you click it, a variety of question types emerge. Now choose the Group Question type.
- Now click the Add Group button.
- You'll land on this page. Here, enter the group's title. As an example, use the title English Comprehension Passage 1 for IELTS.
- Then enter the group's instructions. You can include an English passage.
- Now, choose the difficulty level and section of the group questions.
- Once you've entered all of the relevant information, click the Save & Add Question button.
- Select the questions that are relevant to the passage. Then click the Add Questions button.
- Here's a list of confirmation questions. Click the Add Selected Question button.
- You have now added the question to the appropriate group. If you wish to edit your group questions, click the Edit Group Details button.
- The student will now be able to view the grouped test, as shown in the below image.
