Create a custom role for a question review flow
On the Learnyst platform, you can set up unique roles, like as question creators and reviewers and assign tasks to your team.
- To create custom roles related to the question review flow, go to Users > Sub-Admins > Roles.
- Then, click the Create Custom Role button.
- Here, enter the role's title and description. Then click the save and next button.
- Now scroll down to see the permissions for the question review flow.
- We provided 6 permissions relevant to the question review flow.
- Create Questions in Review Flow: If you only provide this access, the admin can create questions and submit them for review.
- Review Questions: With this permission, an admin can review the questions and approve or reject them. He can not create or change the question.
- Create Review Flow Question Group: With this permission, an admin can only create the question group. Cannot edit or add questions to the group.
- Manage Review Flow Question Group: This permission allows the admin to only edit the existing question group. He cannot create or add questions to it.
- Add Questions to Question Groups in Review Flow: With this permission, an admin can only add questions to the group.
- Remove Unapproved Questions from Question Groups in Review Flow: This permission allows the admin to remove the unapproved questions from the group.
You can combine any of these 6 permissions to create a custom role for your academy.
- For example, I have created a role called “Question Group Manager and I have assigned this role the permissions to create, edit, and add questions to a group.
- This means: The admin can create, edit, and add draft questions to the question group. but cannot create new questions, review questions, or remove questions from the group.
- After you've selected the permission, click the Finish button.
- You can now assign this role to anyone.
