Create an embed button CTA
An embed button call-to-action (CTA) is a button that, when clicked, displays a pop-up CTA. These buttons can be used on websites, using the Website Builder.
- Creating a CTA Button
- Link the CTA button with Popup CTA
- Incorporate the CTA Button using the Website Builder
Creating a CTA Button:
- From the admin dashboard, navigate to the Marketing > CTA.
- Click the Create button to start building a new CTA.
- Under the Embedded Button label, click on Embedded Button CTA.
- Enter the title, description, and button text.
Next, link a CTA pop-up to the button:
- Click on Preview and then Edit button.
- Choose styling settings like button text and color.
- For the Link To label, choose the CTA option and select the popup CTA you wish to link for your button.
- Click on Publish Status and select Live.
Link the CTA button to any button on website builder:
- Open the website builder by clicking on Website & Apps > Website.
- Click on Edit Page to open the website builder edit page.
- Select the button on your website you want to add CTA to.
- Once you have selected the button, click on the link icon.
- Click on the Link field and choose the Action as Link CTA Button as action.
- Under the CTA Embed Button, choose the CTA button of your choice.
- Click on Save and Publish to make changes to your website
After completing the steps outlined above, when a learner clicks on a button linked with a CTA, a pop-up form associated with the CTA will appear on their screen. By submitting the form, it enables tracking of learner clicks, and engagement.
