Creating Coupon Codes

Create Coupons

• Click Sales > Coupons on the left navigation bar, then click on the Create button to generate a new coupon code
• Coupon code and Name: Assign a unique coupon code and a name to identify the coupon.

• Discount Type:

  1. Discount Percentage: You can apply a percentage discount to the price, with the option to set a maximum discount value. For instance, offering 30% off up to Rs 150 means that the discount will not exceed Rs 150.
  2. Fixed amount: We can set a fixed amount for the discount. 
• Start and End Dates: Specify the start and end dates for coupon validity. If the expiry date field is empty, the coupon remains valid indefinitely or until the coupon count runs out.
• Decide the number of times the coupon can be used. Ensure that the coupon limit per learner does not exceed the total coupon quantity.
• Define the maximum discount amount that can be availed using the coupon. For example, if a coupon offers a 20% discount but has a maximum discount amount of ₹50, learners can't save more than ₹50, regardless of the total discount percentage.
• Select the products the coupon applies to, like courses, mock tests, bundles, or test series, or choose Selected Products Pricing for specific targeting.
• Select the coupon visibility (Public or Private) and click Create.
  
• Click on the newly created Coupon under Drafts.
• Under Associated Products, click on Configure Pricing to add more products for the coupon.
• Mark the coupon status as Active and click Save.

Adding Coupons on Checkout Page for Learners:

• If the coupon is set to Public, learners can view all available coupons on the Checkout page.
  
• Learners can select a coupon on the Checkout page, and the discount will be applied automatically.
