Terms and Conditions
Applicability
These terms apply to schools that use Super Live through Learnyst credits.
If your school has an active Super Live subscription, your classes are not charged in credits. Therefore, the credit deduction, refund, and free-class rules described below do not apply.
How Super Live Credits Are Charged- Credits are deducted when you schedule a class, not when the class starts.
- The credit cost is based on the capacity and duration selected while scheduling.
- The applicable rate for each capacity is displayed in your plan.
- Every class has a minimum billable duration of one hour. A class scheduled for less than one hour is charged as one hour.
- Classes longer than one hour are charged proportionally based on their duration.
- The credit amount and balance displayed before you save the class are the amounts used for the booking.
- You must have enough credits to cover the full cost before scheduling a class. If your balance is insufficient, the class will not be created.
- Features such as chat, recording, watermark, and recording layout do not affect the credit cost.
- Credit rates for different capacities may change over time. However, a class that has already been scheduled will continue to use the rate applicable when it was booked.
Capacity
- Capacity is the maximum number of learners or participants who can join the class at the same time.
- Participants exceeding the selected capacity cannot join the class.
- Capacity is fixed when the class is scheduled and cannot be changed later.
- To use a different capacity, you must cancel the existing class and schedule a new one.
- Credits are charged based on the booked capacity, not actual attendance. Unused seats do not result in a credit refund.
Class Duration
- Credits are charged based on the duration selected when scheduling the class.
- If you change the duration before the allowed cutoff time, the credit amount is adjusted based on the difference.
- All scheduling times and cutoff periods follow your school's configured timezone.
Free Super Live Classes
Your plan may include a certain number of free Super Live classes each calendar month.
- Free classes can be used at any available capacity.
- The allowance is a single monthly pool and is not allocated separately for each capacity.
- Unused free classes do not carry over to the following month.
- The allowance resets on the 1st day of each month.
- While free classes are available, no credits are deducted when you schedule an eligible class.
- Free classes appear as waived in your credits report.
- One free class allowance covers one class, regardless of its duration or capacity.
Repeating Classes
When you schedule a repeating class, each occurrence is treated as a separate class.
- You can create up to 15 occurrences at a time.
- Credits for all occurrences are deducted when the series is scheduled.
- Each occurrence follows the same rules for rescheduling, duration changes, cancellation, refunds, and free-class usage.
- Cancelling one occurrence only affects the credits associated with that occurrence.
Rescheduling or Changing a Class
You can reschedule a class or change its duration up to one hour before the scheduled start time.
You can change:
- Date
- Time
- Duration
The capacity cannot be changed after the class is scheduled.
Within the final one hour before the class starts, the date, time, and duration are locked. However, you can still cancel the class or change settings such as chat, recording, or watermark.
Changing the Duration
When you change the duration, Learnyst adjusts the credit amount based on the difference between the original and new duration.
Increasing the Duration
Only the additional duration is charged.
For example, if the rate is 10 credits per hour:
- Original duration: 1 hour = 10 credits
- New duration: 2 hours = 20 credits
- Additional deduction: 10 credits
For a 30-minute extension, only the equivalent additional credits are charged.
If you don't have enough credits to cover the increase, the change cannot be saved. You must add credits and try again.
Reducing the Duration
The credits corresponding to the reduced duration are returned to your balance after you confirm the change.
For example:
- Original duration: 3 hours = 30 credits
- New duration: 2 hours = 20 credits
- Credits returned: 10 credits
The one-hour minimum still applies. Reducing a one-hour class to less than one hour does not result in a refund.
Changing the Date or Time
Moving a class to another date or time does not incur any additional credits, provided the duration and capacity remain unchanged and the change is made before the one-hour cutoff.
Cancelling or Deleting a Class
The refund depends on when the class is cancelled:
- More than one hour before the start: All credits held for the class are returned.
- Within one hour of the start: Credits are not refunded.
- Automatically cancelled class: Credits are not refunded.
Deleting a lesson or moving the course containing the lesson to the Trashcan will also cancel the associated class. The same one-hour cancellation and refund rules apply.
For a free class:
- Cancelling more than one hour before the start returns the free-class slot to your current monthly allowance.
- Cancelling within the final hour uses the free-class slot and does not return it.
Auto-Cancelled Classes
A Super Live class is automatically cancelled if no participant joins within the applicable waiting period after the scheduled start time.
For an auto-cancelled class:
- The credits are not refunded.
- The class is charged based on its scheduled capacity and duration.
- This rule applies to single and repeating classes, regardless of capacity or duration.
- An auto-cancelled free class also uses the corresponding free-class allowance and does not return the slot.
- Auto-cancelled classes appear as Consumed, not Refunded, in the credits report.
If you know that a class will not take place, cancel it more than one hour before the scheduled start time to receive the applicable credit refund.
Super Live Credits
- Super Live credits have no cash value.
- Credits cannot be transferred between schools.
- Credits cannot be converted into cash or refunded as money.
- All credit deductions, refunds, and waived classes are recorded in the Credits Report along with the associated class.
Important: By scheduling and using a Super Live class through credits, you agree to the applicable credit deduction, cancellation, refund, and usage rules described above.
