Targeting Settings for a CTA

Targeting in the CTA (Call-to-Action) manager allow you to define specific conditions and rules for when and where your CTA will appear. This ensures that your CTA reaches the intended audience effectively and optimizes its impact

The targeting settings include the following options:

Show in These Websites:
  • The CTA will pop up when the learner is on a specific URL that you specify.

  • Use OR conditions to add multiple rules for displaying the CTA popup on various websites.

  • You can use wildcards to match a pattern in the URL. For example:
    https://my-website.learnyst.com/learn/*

     This will match all URLs that follow the /learn/ path.

Filter Conditions:

    • Visitors: The CTA will pop up for a new visitor on your website

    • Contacts: The CTA will be shown to visitors who have previously submitted a form on your website.

    • Signed Up Users: You can display the CTA to users who have already signed up for your school. Additional conditions can be set, such as quiz marks or specific user attributes.

      Product Conditions
      : For Signed up users, you can choose a product and set conditions based on the learner's interaction with that product, such as their quiz marks.

    Frequency:

    • After a Set Time Period: The CTA will appear after a specified number of days have elapsed.

    • Repeat: The CTA will show up every time the learner visits the same URL.
    • Don't Show Again: The CTA will be displayed only once to the learner.

    When to Show on Page Load:

    • Trigger on Page Load: The CTA will appear as soon as the page loads.

    • Trigger After Elapsed Time: The CTA will be triggered after the visitor has spent a specific duration on the page.

    After configuring the desired targeting settings, click the Save button to apply the changes.
